Description:Measurements of global surface albedo, aerosol and vegetation properties. Also provides multi-angle bidirectional data (1% angle-to-angle accuracy) for cloud cover and reflectances at the surface and aerosol opacities. Global and local modes.
Spatial Resolution: 275 m, 550 m or 1.1 km, Summation modes available on selected cameras/bands: 1 x 1, 2 x 2, 4 x 4, 1 x 4. 1 pixel = 275 x 275 m
Swath Width: 380 km common overlap of all 9 cameras
Wavebands: VIS: 0.44 ?m, 0.56 ?m, 0.67 ?m, NIR: 0.86 ?m

Description: Imaging Vis/IR radiometer that addresses parameters observable by exploiting different viewing conditions (e.g., to convert radiances into irradiances), different polarisations (to reconstruct the electric field, i.e. the Stokes vector) and more channels (to collect more spectral signatures). A variety of configurations are possible. Multi-polarisation and multi-directionality are appropriate for short wavelengths. Channels bandwidths 2-5 %, spatial resolution typically 0.5-5 km. Applicable only in LEO.
